What is the Big Chop?
It’s the cut that removes all the straightened hair. After a while transitioning, you’re left with only your natural curls.
I’m transitioning. When should I do the Big Chop?
There’s no set date. In the diagnosis Joana looks at your hair with you and you decide the right moment together.
Can I colour my hair without losing my curls?
Yes. Highlights are done carefully so you keep your curl pattern. We always start with a strand test.
Do you cut children’s hair?
Yes, often their very first haircut. Calmly, and parents learn how to care for their curls at home.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the service and on the length and volume of your hair. Ask for a quote on WhatsApp, no strings attached.
